Cradle is a richly textured mixed media abstract inspired by the raw energy and layered surfaces of graffiti. Warm oranges, ochres and earthy tones are contrasted with flashes of turquoise, red and black, creating a sense of movement and depth. Scraped and gestural marks emerge through the layers, suggesting traces of a landscape or an imagined place. An expressive, tactile piece with a balance of warmth, atmosphere and urban edge.

Created with many layers of acrylic paint incorporating fabric, hand painted papers and acrylic inks on deep edge stretched canvas, unframed.

Signed and ready to hang.

Painting size - 20 x 20 cm with a depth of 3.5 cm.

Please note that the colours may vary slightly due to monitor settings.
